Look for a gym that has physical trainers on staff who are certified by a nationally recognized organization such as the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the American Council of Exercise. The best way to protect yourself against injury is by ensuring that your center always has a certified physical trainer on hand. A good facility should provide qualified people to advise clients without having to pay an additional fee, and offer new members a free weight-loss analysis, which includes help with exercise and nutrition needs. They should also have a way to measure a person’s body fat by using a device such as a skin caliper or underwater weigh tank
