How to Get Big Muscles Fast and Effectively

a target=”_blank” title=”How to Get Big Muscles” href=”http://www.build-muscle.info”>How to get big muscles, that is what most guys want to find out. The search for the answer to this question has led millions of men to shell out thousands of dollars for magazines, gym memberships, trainers, coaches, and supplements.  You do not have to be one of these men.

Since you are asking the question “how to get big muscles”, I assume that you already have muscles, and are just looking for ways to increase their size.  You have done every exercise in the book to no avail.  If this sounds familiar, then it is possible that you may have just missed one of the most crucial elements in building body mass, and that is energy.

The body needs energy in order to build muscle tissue.  Energy comes from calories.  No matter how much you work out, if your body lacks calories, then it cannot build the amount of muscle tissues needed to gain bigger muscles.  Try to boost your calorie intake by 500 and carry on with your exercise plan.  If you still don’t see enough results then increase it by 500 more.  Of course, when I say increase calorie intake, I do not mean for you to gorge down on greasy French fries and hamburgers.  Eating healthy is of utmost importance. Increase your carbohydrates and lean protein intake found in poultry, lean meat, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, etc.

Now that we have covered that, it is time to find out if you are doing the right exercises. “How to get big muscles” is actually a no brainer. However, most men are misled by the misconceptions of muscle building exercises.  Do not fall into the same trap.  When exercising, remember the following.

High repetitions will not get you anywhere.  If you do 100 reps bicep curls with a 50 Pd dumbbell easily, guess what?  You are not building an ounce of muscle.  To achieve maximum results in gaining muscle mass, focus on low repetitions with heavy weights.

Getting into a routine of doing the same exercises and lifting the same weights day after day will just get you into a plateau.  The muscles have an amazing adaptability characteristic.  Once it gets used to the weights you are carrying, it no longer gets stressed.  No muscle stress = no muscle build up.  Vary your exercise routine daily and increase your weights gradually.

Let your muscles rest every now and then.  Never over train.  Your muscles cannot grow if you do not allow them enough time to heal after every workout.  Work on one or two body parts at a time if you hit the gym every day.  Let’s say you work on your chest and legs today; tomorrow, work on your biceps and shoulder; next day, your back and legs, and so on…  This way you hit on both variety and proper muscle rest.

There are many effective ways to build muscle mass.  There are also ways to build muscle mass fast.  For more information on how to get big muscles quickly and effectively, visit this link.

Build Muscle Workout for Beginners

One can find a myriad of helpful build muscle workout tips online.  With so many out there, it is quite overwhelming to choose which of them is the right one for you.  I have been in that same dilemma not so long ago.  With the help of a very good friend who is a professional body building coach, I have found the perfect answer.  I am now the proud owner of a body that is endowed with toned and rippling muscles.

I have learned that when just starting out, a build muscle workout should begin with a total body workout of three to four sessions per week.  A total body work out means that you work on each part of your body separately (this is what they call muscle isolation).  Most of the time, I see people who work on just two or three body parts.  They then end up looking like cartoon characters with large chests and thin chicken legs.  So work on all of your body parts, namely your shoulders, chest, forearms, abdominals, triceps, traps, calves, buttocks, hamstrings, biceps, laterals, and quads.  Obviously you will not be able to do all of these in a single day.  Alternate your routine with chest, forearms, abs in the first day; triceps, calves, buttocks on the second and so on.  This way you give all muscles ample time for recovery.

As a start, do 3 sets of 10 repetitions for every exercise you undertake.  Take a 1 to 2 minute break between sets.  For weights, don’t plunge in and attempt to lift the heavy ones immediately.  At the same time, it would be impractical if you went for light weights that do not challenge your muscles at all.  If you feel like you are about to give up on the last 3 repetitions of your last set, then that is exactly the weight for that  muscle group – for now.

If you feel like you are extra comfortable in weight lifting, then by all means, lift heavier.  Just cut down on the repetitions, and add to the number of your sets.  So instead of doing 3 sets of 10 reps, do 5 sets of 5 reps. It is very important to remember that you have to have 1-2 minutes rest in between.  Carrying heavier weights is more effective in tearing up the muscles of your body, hence, promoting faster muscle build up.

After your first three or four weeks, feel free to boost your build muscle workout up. Remember, though, that if you feel like your muscles are no longer reacting to the pressure of the weights, it is time to step it up.  Also, remember that the pains you feel in your muscles are actually your muscles tearing up.  Always give it sufficient time to heal.

Aside from the help of my friend, I have also come across a website that has helped me a lot in my build muscle workout regime.  I can guarantee that there is nothing like it.  You get a workout that is practically effortless and so effective.  Check it out for yourself.
